In reflecting back over the past couple of hundred years of America’s history, most assuredly God has not forgotten His people and certainly sportsman will not forget His faithfulness.

Over 67,000,000 sportsmen across the United States alone and millions more around the globe appreciate God’s creation and the impact that sportsman continue to have in preserving our cherished hunting and fishing traditions. Our Creator has sustained this nation along with our privileged hunting and firearms rights allowing sportsmen to pursue outdoors passion, conservation management and fun adventures with family members and friends. Each year many outdoors industry, conservation and 2nd Amendment Rights organizations host their annual outdoors shows to bring sportsmen together to learn more about our great outdoors heritage.

Two such events, the National Shooting Sports Foundation “Shot Show” and the Dallas Safari Club “Conservation Expo”, will again attract tens of thousands of sportsman consisting of industry leaders as well as game hunters and many newcomers to the sport. Each year friendships are renewed and plans are made around great outdoors pursuits. New outdoors gear, gadgets and other products are unveiled at the Shot Show held in Las Vegas to enhance the sportsmen’s hunting and shooting experience. The Dallas event serves as a wonderful forum for introducing hunters to outfitters & guides who help secure logistical support for getting up close and personal with wildlife.

On the cover and serving as our featured keynote speaker for the Las Vegas Sportsmen’s Prayer Breakfast, Darryl Worley, will commemorate the occasion of bringing sportsmen together during the Shot Show to reflect back on God’s faithfulness following the Twin Towers collapse on 911 in downtown New York City. His hit song, “Have You Forgotten” struck a patriotic cord with Americans but more importantly this heartfelt song helped to rally a nation back together to remember the blessings inherent from “One Nation Under God”. We are also very excited to have Hank Hough and his Kingdom Dog to serve as the keynote speakers for the Dallas Sportsmen’s Prayer Breakfast.

Also in this edition you will definitely enjoy reading about Andrew Limbaugh’s “Setting the World Record” while Spring turkey hunting. Then check out Spring Trout Camp to inspire your church men’s ministry to schedule their own outdoors events for reaching sportsmen within their community. Hunter Education is yet another great outreach event for men to schedule using their church facility to serve as well as communicate in a very practical way the care and compassion of Jesus Christ to a local community.

Hope your new year during 2016 presents great opportunity for you to invest quality and quantity time with your family, friends and those who matter most as you travel together to the woods, on the water or while smelling gun powder at the sporting clays range.
